NEW Resource for Educators Available Now!

The Beaver Institute’s National Education Working Group, formed by a team of volunteer outreach experts and beaver enthusiasts from around the United States, created the Beaver Educator Resource Library (BERL) to serve as a “one stop shop” for those looking to engage audiences of all ages in beaver-related topics. It will be hosted on the Beaver Institute and Human-Beaver Coexistence Fund websites.

The library includes:

  • Youth education resources for classroom teachers, environmental educators, etc.
  • Adult outreach resources for landowners, public works agencies, community beaver advocates, etc.
  • Options to filter and search by grade level, geographic region, format, keywords, and more
  • A template letter for sharing the resource with others
  • A growing list of sites to view beavers near you, either in the wild or in accredited facilities
